Might want to think twice before eating at Soul Crab.
The restaurant — which just opened the weekend of November 30th, 2018 — recently scored a 49 on a March 8, 2019 health inspection, only 3 months after opening. The main culprits for the score were no certified food safety manager present, putting on gloves without first washing hands, and cutting food with bare hands.
As many know, it’s very easy to get sick with seafood that is not handled properly, and not passing a health inspection is a serious violation that can close a restaurant.
Searching social media, there is no mention of the report or any plans of action to remedy the problems from owner Darius Williams or Soul Crab. We’ve reached out to them for comment, and Black Biz Reviews will post any updates obtained here and on our social media channels.
